Queen of Tsawwassen

In 2012 Inventory Media was approached by twelvebooks with a concept for an upcoming photography book project. The publication, whose title is a reference to one of the original BC Ferries, was to feature the work of five emerging Canadian photographers: Ali Bosworth, Seth Fluker, Jennilee Marigomen, Dan Siney, and Chris Taylor. The project brief centred around the commonality of place and photographic sensibility. The publication’s layout and design direction was carefully edited to create a unified, continuous photographic essay that achieved a visual harmony between the five featured artists. The result is Queen of Tsawwassen—a 120 page, casebound book, curated by twelvebooks, Japan and published by Inventory Media in a limited edition of 500 units.
